Competition Rules

By entering any competition or giveaway promoted by Affinity Radio (on-air, online, or via social media), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

• Competitions are open to UK residents only, unless otherwise stated.
• Entrants must be aged 18 or over, unless a specific age restriction is stated.
• Employees of radio 1066 and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
• Only one entry per person per competition is permitted unless stated otherwise.

• Entry methods will be specified on-air or online (e.g., via SMS, email, website form, phone-in, or social media).
• Entries must be received by the specified closing date and time.
• No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason (e.g., technical fault or network issues).
• Some competitions may include a skill, question, or voting mechanism.

• The prize(s) will be clearly described in the competition promotion.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and there is no cash alternative.
• In the event a prize becomes unavailable, a suitable replacement of equal value will be offered.

• Winners will be chosen at random or by judge’s decision, depending on the competition type.
• The decision of Radio 1066 is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Winners will be contacted via the method they entered (e.g., phone, email, or direct message).
• If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 72 hours, the prize may be offered to another entrant.

• By entering, you agree that your name and/or voice may be used on-air or on social media for promotional purposes.
• Winners may be asked to participate in interviews, photos, or promotional material.

• Personal data collected during competition entry will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
• We will only use your data for the purposes of administering the competition unless you opt-in to future communications.

Radio 1066 reserves the right to:

• Disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or in breach of the rules
• Withhold a prize if there is reasonable suspicion of cheating or manipulation
• Cancel or amend the competition and terms if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances

• Radio 1066 will not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from entry into the competition or acceptance of any prize.
• Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law.
• Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
